Intros and Nutshells

Alright ladies, my first step in wedding planning is officially complete. The bridesmaids have been chosen: Kristi Bohannon (MoH), Danielle Williams (you may know her as my cousin Brittany), Selena Hall (nee Coats), Emily Tjahjono (nee Manns) and Lauren Vincent (my new sister via my brother). Take a brief moment and congratulate yourselves for being included in this extremely elite group and then take a moment to think about how awesome I am :p .............. done? good.

I have set up this blog so that I can keep all of you in the planning loop and from time to time use this as a sound board for ideas.

I would now appreciate it if you would each take a few moments to say "hello" to each other in the comments section. I know several of you know each other but others are new to this echelon of my friendship and I want everyone to feel welcome and at ease.

    Hi everybody,

    I'm Danielle, Emily's cousin. Those of you from Newbern may have vague memories of an eight year old version of me from when I lived there for a year. I reside in Los Angeles now and am also planning a wedding, though I'm not nearly as far along with it as Emmy is.

    Hi Danielle! I'm trying to recall your 8 year old self.....having trouble. I blame any memory loss on having two children (ages 4 and 9 months). I am Emily's friend from Newbern. Yes, my maiden name is Manns, aka Mayonnaise (but you have to hear Emily say it..if she even remembers!)

    I'm excited to be a part of this wedding, and I'm ecstatic that it's finally happening!!! But, I'm dying to know the wedding date or general time of year!! Hurry up and tell us!

    Lol I do remember Mayonnaise (I even said that way as I read it). I don't have a specific date yet but it will most likely be a fall wedding whether it happens this year or next depends on our budget which is still in the works. I promise that I will keep you all as up to date as I am.

    Hi everyone I'm Lauren. I'm married to Emily's brother Matt. I am so very happy for Emily and Tim and am very excited to be a part of the big day. I along with Emily and Danielle am also planning a wedding. Matt ane I just had a court house ceremony in october, but will be having a bigger wedding next October. What an exciting time! I look forward to meeting everyone.

      Hi everybody! I'm Selena, and I'm a friend of Emily's from Newbern, also! I'm so excited for Emily and Tim, and I can't wait to be a part of their wedding. Emily was a fabulous bridesmaid in my wedding just a couple of years ago, so I have some big shoes to fill. :) I'm looking forward to meeting you, Danielle and Lauren, and I'm looking forward to seeing you other gals again!

      I live in the mountains southwest of Denver, with my husband (Miah) and our son (Jonah, 7.5months).
