So this is what Timmy and I have going on for the wedding weekend.
Saturday, November 17th:
Rehearsal starts at 11:30 am and as soon as that is over we will be going to the rehearsal picnic that we will be hosting at Cauble Park (everyone is invited to the picnic but only ceremony participants will be at the rehearsal).
Sunday, November 18th:
Bridal party brunch (location TBA) and following we go get our nails did ladies!
1:00pm: Arrive at venue and begin getting ready.
3:00pm: Picture Time
5:00pm (or so): Ceremony time
Let me know if anyone has any questions or concerns and if anything changes I will post it or message you guys. I'm getting so excited and I can't wait to see everybody again!!!!

Rehearsal Dinner
Hey ladies! Just wanted to let everyone know that rehearsal is scheduled for Saturday, November 17th, 11:30 am, at the Conservatory at Waterstone, Acworth, GA. I have a meeting with the venue on Tuesday and will update you guys as to what is going on, and if I need ya'll to do anything.

MAY I have your attention please :D
Alright, I believe I am going to try and plan the bridesmaid dress trip for the weekend of May 26th. Does this weekend still work for everyone (britt I know you may have an issue with it and I totally understand)? I may also try to plan a cupcake tasting expedition for us to sample some bakeries to provide my wedding cupcakes for me. Let me know if this plan is good with everyone and we shall set the wheels in motion.

Say Yes to the Dress
I have found my wedding dress!!!

Geronimo!
This past week has been a wonderful one for wedding progress. A color scheme has been chosen (red & grey). The venue has been selected (http://www.conservatoryatwaterstone.com/index.php), and we have narrowed the date down to two possibilities (November 17th or 18th, 2012). I have spoken with our preferred photographer to ensure that she is available for those days (she is!) and within the next week or so will be meeting with her to work out all the details. The appointment for bridal dress shopping has been made with David's Bridal (March 17th, 2012, at 10:30 am) and hopefully after that we will head out for lunch together. Alright, I'm off to peruse teh interwebs for neato wedding ideas.

Luck will not be a lady tonight
Ok so Tim and I have decided that Vegas is a no-go for the wedding because it would be too expensive for too many people and my grandmother wouldn't be able to make the trip which also means someone else from my family would have to miss it as well to stay with her. So everybody better make sure they got a boarding pass for this midnight train to Georgia.
Since the wedding has cancelled the Vegas tour, it is going back to the studio to rework some material for a new album, and this means the wedding won't happen until next year :( .
On an up note however, I will be going out and looking at dresses on Saturday, March 17, 2012, if anyone cares to come along.

Top Ten List - Wedding Style
Alrighty ladies, now that the intros have been made I will fill you in on what I know about my wedding thus far.
1) It will most likely be in the fall (90% chance)
2) It just won't be in the fall of THIS year (stupid money and stupid being responsible)
3) I will have cupcakes instead of a wedding cake, which Emily T. has so graciously agreed to help me with (if you haven't seen her cupcakes and cookies on facebook you should check them out).
4) My photographer will be Janet Howard of Janet Howard Studio (does all the Vo family portraits and weddings).
5) If he is able to do it, our officiant will be Rev. Blackwell (he sponsored Tim's family in this country and has married all of his brothers and sisters so far).
6) It will most likely be an outdoor ceremony/reception, if the weather is agreeable (later I will post up some locations that we are considering).
7) There will be no flower girl/ring bearer. Too many cute kids to chose from and more than 2 would just look ridiculous.
8) I will be following Selena's lead and allowing my bridesmaids to select their dresses (I have veto power though), and I will give you the color/colors to choose from.
9) I am considering many alternative ideas so don't expect this to be your mother's wedding. Any one that knows me knows I do what I want, when I want, and this wedding is no exception. I will post ideas I am considering either to this blog or to my pinterest board, feel free to leave comments and suggestions.

Intros and Nutshells
Alright ladies, my first step in wedding planning is officially complete. The bridesmaids have been chosen: Kristi Bohannon (MoH), Danielle Williams (you may know her as my cousin Brittany), Selena Hall (nee Coats), Emily Tjahjono (nee Manns) and Lauren Vincent (my new sister via my brother). Take a brief moment and congratulate yourselves for being included in this extremely elite group and then take a moment to think about how awesome I am :p .............. done? good.
I have set up this blog so that I can keep all of you in the planning loop and from time to time use this as a sound board for ideas.
I would now appreciate it if you would each take a few moments to say "hello" to each other in the comments section. I know several of you know each other but others are new to this echelon of my friendship and I want everyone to feel welcome and at ease.
